My goal with this blog is to examine how minorities and religions are portrayed in major news outlets, specifically CBS News. I like to look at a wide range of minorities and religions, but as an Arab Muslim, articles concerning these demographics tend to spark the most interest for me, therefore leading me to write several posts based on the issue of their representation through this news company. I hope that my perspective on the issues presented serve to give my readers a broader understanding and a potentially different view than that given by the reporters I analyze, allowing them to glean a variety of information and ideas from which they can ultimately form their own opinions on the topic.
